Membership

Join us and learn the skills of traditional boat building and sailing.

Become a member and work alongside skilled professionals who are more than willing to share their expertise with you. Our members are from all walks of life, with all levels of woodworking, boatbuilding, and boating experience. The Community Boat Shop is located on the bluffs near the Atlantic Ocean. This makes for a unique working environment.

Becoming a member of the East End Classic Boat Society brings you these benefits:

  • Visit the Boat Shop any Wednesday or Saturday between 9 AM to 2 PM
  • Participate in the construction or restoration of the boats we are working on
  • Access one of several boats we have in the water for rowing or sailing

Join in for one or more social events each year including our annual boat meet at Louse Point the first Sunday of August, our annual wine and cheese party in December where the boat of the year raffle ticket is drawn. The EECBS Annual Dinner in January is held at a restaurant in Sag Harbor, NY.

Membership fees are: $35.00 for individuals and $45.00 for families.

…this is a reminder to those of you who have missed the opportunity to renew your annual membership. Please mail in your membership dues. As you know, our expenses are kept to a minimum thanks to the volunteers for all of our activities.

Every member is important to us and your donations are always welcome and tax deductable (we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization).A check made out to EECBS and sent to PO Box 1784, East Hampton, NY 11937 will help keep us on an even keel.
